Description
Contests are held in conjunction with partner groups, meaning I provide the prize (a one year subscription) while the partner group provides the theme and rules.
If you are a group founder or admin and you are interested in holding a contest, leave the following in a COMMENT on this journal:
- A link to your group
- A link to your most recent contest journal (if you have held one before)
- The proposed theme and a brief set of rules for the contest you would like to hold
The contest will begin once the partner group is announced and will end on December 29th. This means entries must be submitted by, and voting to select the winner will begin on, December 29th.

Selection Criteria
The group selected to receive the prize will be chosen based on the following:
- Groups with more members are preferred
- Groups that have run previous contests are preferred (please provide links in your comment to previous contest journals)

dAhub - Update
News
The dAhub bot will continue to be down through the end of August. A new dAhub bot (v2.0) will be released in September that will process the backlog of activity and open up new [services]
Details
I have not had an opportunity to update the current bot and will not be able to do so for the next two weeks. The most efficient option is to simply process all activity (including all the backlogged activity) once the dAhub v2.0 bot is operational which should be by mid-September, but likely sooner.
I apologize I will not be able to hold up my promise to get the bot operational this week. All donations will be processed normally once the

The dAhub bot is back online
Details
The reason for the downtime was a technical issue between the bot and dA's servers. That issue has now been resolved
One of the core functions of the bot is to send points to users. That is accomplished by sending a transaction request to dA's servers and waiting for the response. Once the response is received, the next transaction is initiated and so on. Over the past year it has taken longer and longer for dA's servers to respond to each transaction request. The bot cannot proceed until that response is received. This means that the latency on dA's servers delayed transactions and respon

Theme: voicer x UTAU. The voicer of an UTAUloid would sing a duet with their UTAU~ Not sure what that means? Well UTAU is a program a lot like vocaloid, but people can create and use their own singers~ The contest would take the person who created an UTAU and have them sing a song with one of their UTAUs. The song wouldn't necessarily have to be a duet per se (like Magnet); it would be cooler to duet a song that isn't normally one (ex: Mozaik Role)
